Dear Patient: 

Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice. Our office follows recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

You will see some changes when it is time for your next dental appointment. We made these changes to help protect our patients and staff. 

​

• Two days before your appointment we will send you a COVID-19 screening questionnaire. You will be asked these same questions again when you arrive at our office.

• We will take and record your temperature upon arrival at our office as a part of the screening process.

• Masks must be worn by all persons during the entire visit. We will have you remove your mask for your procedure only.

• We have hand sanitizer in the reception area for you to use as needed, and soap/water in each treatment room.

• You may see that our waiting room will no longer offer magazines, children’s toys and so forth, since those items are difficult to clean and disinfect. 

• Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That might mean that you’re offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment to ensure everyone’s safety.

• We will do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times for you, as well as to reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time. 

• We may ask you to wait in the car before/after your screening to control the patient traffic in our office.
